"The well-kept eighteen hole golf course has an outstanding reputation for excellence... The photographs give but a faint conception of the great beauty of the scenes that envelop the players over the length of the entire course. The stimulating mountain air is a very real factor in furthering the enjoyment of the player." – Berkshires Hunt and Country Club pamphlet, circa 1920
